Calling all no-gi grapplers! Shield Systems Academy invites you to enter our first-ever No-Gi Absolute Challenge for a shot at $500 cash and the prestigious Warrior Cup. We’re inviting local academies to submit one experienced grappler to represent their school in this elite, winner-take-all showcase. Competitors will battle it out in two separate brackets—Men’s and Women’s— designed to highlight top local talent and crown the best no-gi athlete in the area. All participants must be registered competitors in the Warrior Cup tournament to be eligible.

Absolute Division Details

Prize Payout

• $500 to the Champion (winner-take-all)
• If fewer than 8 competitors register, the prize payout will be reduced

Eligibility & Entry

• Each local academy / school may enter up to ONE (1) competitor
• Entries are first come, first served
• Once 8 entries are filled, registration will close

Bracket Format

• Single-elimination
• No-Gi submission-only rules (Classic Combat standard)
• No overtime rounds
• Matches decided by referee decision if no submission occurs

Entry Cap & Adjustments

• Maximum competitors: 8
• Minimum competitors required to run the bracket: 4
• If fewer than 8 competitors are confirmed:
  • Prize money will be adjusted accordingly
  • Competitors will be notified prior to the event
